Airframe
When designing and building a new airframe—whether a fixed wing or retrocraft—we have the design expertise and experience to help you reduce weight, keep component size to the smallest footprint possible, and maximize electrical and mechanical performance—and all with ease of installation in mind. ACIT products are the primary source on multiple wide and narrow-body commercial aircraft and prominent business jets.
Antennae & Radar
We provide durable, tested antenna mounts and accessories, plus EWIS‑compliant power-distribution designs for reliable primary electrical systems. We engineer wiring and harnesses for weather‑avoidance systems and deliver products, support, and integration services for current and future IFEC and Interiors equipment—enabling robust radar, antenna, and system installations across aircraft fleets.
Avionics & Flight Deck
When designing a new aircraft, the systems you plan to install are critical to flight operations. We offer a complete line of interconnect solutions for current and next‑gen avionics and cockpit communications, including enhanced vision and heads‑up displays, fuel quantity management, TCAS, radio altimeters, and more. Cabin Management & IFEC
We provide a broad assortment of specialized cable designs and interconnect products to support cabin management systems from traditional lighting and controls to in-cabin Wi-Fi services and camera security systems for the doors and cargo holds. We’ll partner with you from initial design concept, through building, certification, and installation for all types of cabin management and IFEC applications–custom or off-the-shelf.
Connectivity
We are a leader in ATG systems with thousands of installations, turnkey SatCom components and cabling plus DER-driven design/certification support, complete ARINC‑791/792 and ESA packages (in partnership with Saint‑Gobain Performance Plastics) for Ka/Ku bands, and a patented all‑aluminum Thermal Management Solution that integrates with antenna supports to reject heat and avoid galvanic corrosion.
Engines
Our small-form-factor, lightweight products deliver dependable performance in the extremely demanding conditions on and around aircraft engines. Our severe environment wires perform in extremely harsh environments, withstand vibration, and direct flame exposure, and our lightweight engine power feeders, heavy-duty lugs, and terminal blocks are designed for high-temperature and high-vibration applications.
Harsh Environment
Severe weather and moisture-prone (SWAMP) areas, such as wheel wells and external airframe housings, demand products that withstand the harshest environments. With more than 70 years of experience in design, manufacturing, testing, and certification across commercial and defense aviation, we specialize in rugged, sealed, and corrosion-resistant designs that perform in harsh conditions while remaining compact and easy to install.
Headend Equipment
Amphenol CIT designs and manufactures integrated airborne racks, and shelves to support any equipment you want to get flying. We deliver end-to-end solutions—from SOW to fabricated, certified cabinets—plus industry-leading wireless IFEC design, certification, and turnkey installation kits for rapid, reliable system deployment. Our teams also support maintenance and fleet-scale rollouts worldwide.
High-Voltage/AAM
We deliver high-voltage wire and cable, connectors, power feeders, and thermal management for AAM and high-voltage aircraft. Our modular, scalable system integration, comprehensive testing and certification support, and global design-to-production capability enable rapid prototyping, qualification, and fleet-scale manufacturing for electric propulsion, battery systems, and high-power distribution across AAM platforms.
Interiors
We provide global design-to-manufacture electrical harnesses for seating, lighting, galleys, lavatories, storage, and PSUs. We also handle approvals, cost-reduction consulting, and program scaling via our Continuous Improvement System, enabling prototype-to-production transfers and turnkey PSU installations with regulatory substantiation and customized kits for single-aircraft or full-fleet deployments.
Power & Grounding
ACIT grounding and terminal blocks are in service on jet-engine firewall applications and are custom-designed to meet rigorous performance requirements. Our power and grounding assemblies provide a bolt-on solution for power and grounding cabling, eliminating the need for terminal lug installation tooling and training in crimping procedures. They can also be combined with other ACIT products into kits.
Seat-Back
Since the 1990s, we have supported the shift from armrest audio to seatback video with industry-leading in‑seat harnesses and cable. Our aerospace-rated high-speed wire, lightweight connectors, backshells, and installation hardware reduce weight and size while ensuring reliable high-speed interconnection. We pair engineering, manufacturing, and innovative business models to meet the ever-evolving demands of IFE.
