Amphenol CIT supports manufacturing under FAA Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) in our Franklin, WI location.  This includes contract manufacturing components, assemblies, and kits with the support of a PMA Assistance Letter from the STC holder.  This approval allows ACIT and our Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) staff to issue FAA 8130-3 Airworthiness Tags for products intended for direct delivery and installation on aircraft.  EASA STC products can similarly be supplied under a bilateral arrangement.

The Supplemental Type Certificate is a formal process to allow modification of aircraft while assuring compliance with aviation regulations and continued safe, reliable operation.  Amphenol CIT provides STC engineering and certification services directly through the FAA and in collaboration with many other certification agencies globally.  As a holder of hundreds of STCs globally, you can trust ACIT to accomplish the engineering and approval through regulators wherever you need to fly.
