Sealed Terminal Lugs

Product Details

Amphenol CIT sealed terminal lugs are engineered not only to be reliable but also to reduce weight and provide efficient installation, driving down costs. Our unique hex-crimp design allows for a crimp installation that produces no flash, saving costly operator time and eliminating damage to the protective plating.

key features

  • Typical applications range in gauge size from #10 AWG to 4/0
  • Crimp dies for standard barrel designs work with industry standard 22- & 33- ton tooling
  • 1-hole & 2-hole tongues can be produced at any angle to the barrel or configured as required
  • Compatible with popular cable specifications, including:
    • BMS 13-60
    • BMS 13-78
    • ABS0949 (AD)
    • ASNE0438 (YV)
    • MIL-SPEC
  • Custom designs available

Our in-house integrated engineering teams are ready to take on your greatest challenges.

One-Hole Terminal Lugs

  • Nickel-plated aluminum connector for aluminum conductors
  • Qualified with AM & ASNE0438 (YV) cables
  • Elastomeric sealing rings create an environmentally sealed connection, protecting the crimp area from corrosive elements
  • Installs with industry-standard 22 and 33 ton hydraulic crimp heads
  • Single crimp installation
  • Modified hex crimp leaves no burrs, eliminating the need for secondary operations that consume installer time & remove protective plating
  • Crimping process minimizes the bend or barrel skew relative to the tongue
  • Patented integral oxide breaker eliminates the need for messy anti-oxidant
  • Crimp dies emboss crimp indicators during the installation process

Two-Hole Terminal Lugs

  • Tin-plated aluminum connector for aluminum conductors
  • Qualified with BMS13-60T22 & BMS13-78T03 cables
  • Integral sealing rings create an environmentally sealed connection, protecting the crimp area from corrosive elements
  • Installs with industry-standard 22- & 33-ton hydraulic crimp heads
  • Single crimp installation
  • Modified hex crimp leaves no burrs, eliminating the need for secondary operations that consume installer time and remove protective plating
  • Crimping process minimizes the bend or barrel skew relative to the tongue
  • Patented integral oxide breaker eliminates the need for messy anti-oxidant
  • Crimp dies emboss crimp indicators during the installation process provide visual assurance of full wire insertion
